Three international students of Northwest A & F University attended the International Summer School at Wuhan University

The International GeoInformatics Summer School, hosted by the Laboratory for Information Engineering in Surveying, Mapping, and Remote Sensing (LIESMARS) at Wuhan University, concluded on a high note with exceptional achievements by three talented international students from Northwest A&F University.

The summer school, held from 12 July 2023 to 18 July 2023, attracted participants from around the world, all eager to explore the cutting-edge advancements in GeoInformatics and geospatial technologies. Among them were three outstanding students, Muhammad Fraz Ali , Sidra Sohail and Ahmed Mukhtar, hailing from Northwest A&F University.

Throughout the intensive program, these ambitious students exhibited a remarkable dedication to learning and a passion for GeoInformatics. Engaging in various activities, including interactive lectures, hands-on workshops, and team projects, they demonstrated their proficiency in a diverse range of topics, such as remote sensing, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), spatial analysis, and data visualization.

International faculty members leading the summer school, praised the contributions of these students, stating, "Their active participation and eagerness to explore the complexities of GeoInformatics were truly commendable. As the summer school came to a close, the three students reflected on their experiences. Ahmed Mukhtar shared, "Participating in the International GeoInformatics Summer School was an eye-opening experience. Sidra Sohail added, "The diversity of participants and faculty members made this summer school truly enriching. I am grateful for the friendships formed and the insights gained during this remarkable journey."
