关于2019年寒假放假的通知

　　 　　

　　Arrangements Regarding the Winter Holidays

　　全体外国留学生/Dear all:

　　根据学校安排，学生寒假时间为1月19日-2月22日，2月23日-24日报到注册，25日正式上课。为做好假期工作，现就有关事项通知如下The winter holiday will begin on January 19 and end on February 22，2019，February 23 and 24 is for registration and 25 for normal school day. The detailed arrangements are as follows:

　　一、放假事项安排/Arrangements about the holiday

　　1.计划回国和假期短期外出杨凌的留学生，请到国际学院辅导员办公室请假，注意旅行安全，遵守社会法规与交通规则Fill the Ask For Leave Form in the International Office 110 if you plan to go back to your countries or leave for a short-distance trip during the holiday. Be aware of your personal security and traffic regulations when traveling，don’t hang out alone at night, especially for female students.

　　2.外出期间，关好门窗、关闭电源，防火防盗; 春节期间校内和周边严禁燃放烟花爆竹Before you leave, close your door and window, turn off the electricity appliances and water taps, and take strict precautions against fire and theft; It is prohibited to set off fireworks or firecrackers during the Spring Festival on campus and near campus.

　　3.假期在校留学生，请注意人身财产安全，保管好贵重物品，不要让陌生人进入房间 Watch out for burglary and take care of your belongings especially the precious possessions. In case of putting your life and possessions at risk, DO NOT let strangers into your room.

　　4.天气寒冷，请多喝开水、注意保暖，清洁房间、保持卫生，不长时间无间歇使用空调等大功率电器Drink more hot water and clean your room to keep warm and a good personal hygiene through the tough winter months. Don’t use the air-conditioner and other big power-load appliances for too long, avoiding air-conditioning illness.

　　5.1月19日到2月22日期间居留许可到期的，请于1月18日前到办公室110及时办理签证或居留许可延期,寒假期间不办理those whose expiry date of residence permit is between 19 January to 22 February pls do extension of your residence permit or your family member’s before 18 January, the winter vacation will not do the residence permit extension.

　　6.如有丢失护照或其他签证问题的，请咨询杨凌示范区公安局出入境管理处，电话：87031901。Any problem about your passport and visa, please contact the Administration Division of Exit and Entry of Yangling Municipal Public Security Bureau.Tel:87031901.

　　二、返校报到注册要求/About the New Semester

　　1.请假的留学生需在2019年2月24日前返校，于3月3日前完成2018-2019学年第二学期奖学金签字报到注册程序/ Please come back to the university before 24 February, complete your procedures for registration for monthly scholarship in our office before 3 March, 2019.

　　2.请假回国留学生从中国大陆以外地区入境返校后，请及时填写《24小时临时住宿登记表》，并提交值班老师，以便24小时内报送公安局备案 The international students coming back you’re your countries during 24 hours after arriving from outside mainland china, fill <the Accommodation Registration Form for Foreign Nationals> in our office and then send it to the Administration Division of Exit and Entry of Yangling Municipal Public Security Bureau.

　　3.自费外国留学生（非中国政府奖学金生）请于开学初交纳住宿费和学费/The self-funded international students, who extend to study at our university for the new academic year, should come to our office for the tuition payment and room rent.

　　4.中国政府奖学金生必须按期履行2019年3月3日前的完成签到注册手续，未报到注册者停发奖学金/The CSC student must come to our office for the monthly registration before 3rd March. Those who missed it without approval cannot get their scholarship money for March.

　　5.返校后，请注意查询上学期课程学习所得学分并按时选修专业课程，确保顺利完成课程学习please check your course credits for this semester and select all needed course on your studying schedule on line, make sure you get all credits on time.

　　6.一年级汉语学习阶段的留学生请在汉语教研室处咨询新学期课表、课程事宜The international students pls go to the Chinese Studies Office for the new timetable and courses.
